People across the U.S. will be skipping the elevator and taking the stairs on National Take the Stairs Day on January 8 for clean air and healthy lungs. It’s an opportunity to promote a healthy activity and register for the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb Philadelphia at Three Logan Square on March 29,2025.
National Take the Stairs Day is an annual observance on the second Wednesday of January that gives Americans an opportunity to adopt healthy routines like taking the stairs. Stair climbing is a step toward healthier lungs and healthier lifestyle, as doing so improves balance and coordination and helps strengthen major muscle groups and improve overall health. Be sure to snap a pic on the stairs and tag us at @lungassociation.
